Choral ensemble Voce, based in Hartford, CT, was founded by Artistic Director Mark Singleton in 2006. Mark and Voce quickly built a reputation for an exquisite sound, and a focus on performing the works of living composers. Stereophile Magazine has hailed its sound as "heartbreakingly beautiful". Its primary focus is to provide a life-changing, heart lifting experience for singers and audience members alike. Voce is committed to providing a choral education for young students in Hartford's schools with the creation of the Hartford Youth Chorus in 2024.
